Optical Outlook is an independent group of optometric practices with locations in George Town and West Bay, Grand Cayman, and the only optical practice in Cayman Brac. Louise Cagney

Louise is originally from the Republic of Ireland. Louise began her career by completing a degree in Ophthalmic Dispensing at Glasgow Caledonian University and in 2014 received her BSc Honours degree in Optometry from the University of Ulster.

As a highly dedicated optometrist Louise is committed to providing exceptional eye care to patients of all ages and has developed advanced clinical expertise in primary eye care, ocular disease management, and personalized vision solutions. In 2022, she further expanded her clinical qualifications by completing a postgraduate diploma in Myopia Management from Glasgow Caledonian University.

Guided by a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and a deep commitment to community health, Louise integrates modern clinical techniques with a warm, patient-focused approach. She is dedicated to improving access to comprehensive eye care across the region and continues to advocate for early detection, preventative care, and public education on ocular wellness. In addition to her clinical work, she volunteers with LIFE, providing free vision screenings for children under five years of age.

Antony Martin

Originally from Glasgow, Tony qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Optometry in 2013. Early in his career, he developed a strong interest in red-eye management, which inspired him to pursue further clinical training. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Degree in Independent Prescribing in 2017, allowing him to diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions with an advanced level of care.

Tony enjoys working with patients of all ages, with particular experience in both paediatric eye care and supporting the visual needs of elderly patients. He is passionate about staying at the forefront of his field and is always exploring new optometric technologies, diagnostic tools, and advancements in ocular medicine to enhance patient care.

Outside of the clinic, Tony continues to expand his knowledge through ongoing professional development and a keen interest in emerging optometric equipment.

Dr. Mellisa Hudell

Mellisa is originally from Saskatchewan, Canada. Mellisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Regina in 2001 and went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2005.

Mellisa has been practicing in the Cayman Islands since 2008.
